Kelsey Brockett
NORWAY — The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine has hired Kelsey Brockett as cancer resource navigator, a position grant-funded by the Maine Cancer Foundation.
The Waterford resident will team up with oncology social worker Stephanie LeBlond to assist with the emotional, financial and basic needs of cancer patients in Oxford County and surrounding towns.
Diane Madden, executive director of the center, said in a news release that “Kelsey’s experience in counseling and social services will not only benefit patients and families facing the daily physical, emotional and financial challenges of cancer, but will have a positive impact in advancing the Center’s mission to ensure that no one faces cancer alone.”
