Fueled by goals from Wyllum Deveaux, Xander Lamppa, Matthew Philip and Jacob Hudson, the Maine Mariners picked up their fourth win in five games with a 4-2 victory over the Adirondack Thunder in an ECHL game Firday night in Glens Falls, New York.
Deveaux’s power-play goal gave Maine a 1-0 lead after one period. Lamppa and Philip scored in the second period, both assisted by Tristan Thompson, and Hudson made it 4-0 early in the third.
Brad Arvanitis made 27 saves for the Mariners, giving up third-period goals to Kevin O’Neil and Gustav Muller.
