A Maine Department of Transportation worker secures a barrier Thursday afternoon on College Road in Lewiston after a a sinkhole developed Wednesday when a culvert for Stetson Brook failed near the Greene town line. According to Maine DOT, the culvert was installed in 1988. All traffic is being detoured between Merrill Road and Lane Road. There is no timetable yet on when the road will be reopened.
