Terrell Humphrey, 40, of Scranton, Pennsylvania, was arrested Thursday and charged with reckless conduct with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and being a fugitive from justice.

Humphrey was wanted on an extraditable warrant from his home state.

He is being held at Androscoggin County Jail awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.

In the early morning of March 14, police responded to the Ash and Howe streets intersection for a report of a gunshot in the area.

Police were unable to find evidence of a shooting. Upon review of hours of public and private surveillance footage, they found a suspect on video who fired a handgun into the air.

Lewiston’s Criminal Investigations Division was able to track the suspect’s movements throughout the city and identified the suspect on Thursday as Humphrey.
