RUMFORD – Franklin Savings Bank promoted two employees at its Rumford branch to vice president positions.
Leanne Gagne is vice president, loan officer, and Jennifer Merrill is vice president, commercial loan officer.
Gagne has been with Franklin Savings Bank for 36 years, starting her career as a receptionist. Over the years, she has built a strong customer portfolio and an extensive client base, embodying the values of community banking. “She is a true culture champion at FSB, dedicated to making FSB a great place to work. She is also deeply involved in her community, frequently giving back through various nonprofit organizations,” bank officials said in a statement announcing the promotion.
Gagne resides in Dixfield with her husband. They have two adult children and many grandchildren.

Jennifer Merrill
Merrill has been with Franklin Savings Bank for 27 years. She has played a crucial role in the growth and efficiency of the Commercial Department, ensuring seamless operations behind the scenes.
“In recent years, she has taken on a more visible role as a loan officer, supporting the bank’s significant Rumford-based commercial portfolio. Her expertise has contributed greatly to the bank’s continued success,” bank officials said.
Jennifer lives in Andover with her husband. They have two adult daughters.
