LEWISTON — Police responded Monday afternoon to a shooting incident on Pierce Street, according to a Lewiston Police Department Facebook post.
Officers responded to the 75-79 Pierce St. area around 3:15 p.m. Monday for a report of a gunshot.
No injuries were reported when police arrived on scene, however a single shell casing was found and further investigation revealed a structure at 79 Pierce St. was struck by a bullet, the post said.
Police continue to investigate the incident and ask anyone with information to email Detective Brian Bourgoin at [email protected].
