Shannah Parsons was 3 for 4 with a double, a triple and four RBI, leading Monmouth Academy to a 9-1 win over Lisbon in a Mountain Valley Conference softball game Saturday.
Rileigh Chase homered for the Mustangs (12-0). Chase and Lila Poussard both had two hits and two RBI.
Aubriana Bright recorded a triple and a single and scored the lone run for Lisbon (7-2) in the first inning.
OAK HILL 10, DIRIGO 5: Sydney Wood had two hits including a double to lift the Raiders (5-6) past the Cougars (7-4) in Dixfield.
Izzy Whitaker pitched complete game to earn the win.
Aleiah Ward had two hits, including a home run for Dirigio. Abby Luczynski added a triple.
BASEBALL
LAKE REGION 7, LEAVITT 6: Dylan Blair plated the winning run with a fielder’s choice in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Lakers (9-2) topped the Hornets (5-6) in Naples.
Landon Marquis gave the Hornets a 6-5 lead with an RBI single in the top of the seventh, but Lake Region rallied for two runs in the bottom half.
Leavitt scored two runs in each of the first two innings for a 4-0 lead. Nick Mellen hit a two-run double in the first. In the second, Trent Holst singled home a run and John Oliver drew a bases-loaded walk.
Brock Gibbons hit an RBI double during a five-run second inning for the Lakers.
Oliver tied it with an RBI single in the fourth.
POLAND 8, WELLS 4: Eliot Rioux, Aiden Bean and Cade Johnson each drove in two runs, leading the Knights (4-9) past the Warriors (4-7) in Poland.
Johnson, Alex Mains and Landon Cooper all had two hits for Poland. Mains went the distance on the mound, scattering nine hits.
Caleb Moody of Wells hit a two-run homer in the first inning. Derek Martin and Ayden Collins each recorded a double and two singles.
