DEAR SUN SPOTS: The North Waterford Congregational Church at 10 Irving Green Road in Waterford will hold the first supper of the season Tuesday, June 24, from 5-6:30 p.m.

The menu includes baked beans, chop suey, cole slaw, salads, casseroles, rolls, beverages and gingerbread. The cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children under 12.

We will have a supper every two weeks until Sept. 2. On July 8 and 22 and Aug. 5, the featured dessert will be strawberry shortcake. On Aug. 19 and Sept. 2 the featured dessert will be homemade pies.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I’m requesting recommendations from other Sun Spots readers for a house cleaner who will come to clean for me once a month at my home in Lisbon Falls. I’d like a sole proprietor, not a big company.
