Lillian “Cookie” Claire Colbert
MECHANIC FALLS – Lillian “Cookie” Claire Colbert, 82, of Mechanic Falls, passed away at home on Aug. 18, 2025. She was born Nov. 23, 1942, in Haverhill, Mass., and was a longtime resident of Mechanic Falls.
She is survived by her husband George “Danny” Colbert who she was married to for 60 years; their children Whitney Sullivan and Scott Colbert; her brother, Henry Foisy and sister, Patricia Foisy Gilliam; her seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Though she is no longer here on earth, those who loved Cookie take comfort knowing they have gained a guardian angel whose love and spirit will always be near.
A funeral service will be held at Chandler Funeral Homes, 26 W. Dwinal St, Mechanic Falls, Thursday Aug. 28, from 2 to 4 p.m.
