Julieta Peralta scored twice to lift the Leavitt girls soccer team to a 3-1 victory over Winthrop on Thursday in Winthrop.
The Hornets (3-4-1) also got a goal form Reese Bilodeau.
Bella Baehr scored for the Ramblers (3-4-1).
WELLS 1, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 0: Eloise Ouellette scored with three minutes remaining in the first half to give the Warriors (3-5) the only goal they needed against the Mustangs (5-4-1) in Monmouth.
Samantha Woodward earned the shutout by making 12 saves. Lily Carlton stopped 10 shots for Monmouth.
LAWRENCE 3, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Leah Gallant scored and added an assist as the Bulldogs (3-5) scored three goals in the second half against the Phoenix (3-6-1) in Jay.
All three Lawrence goals were scored in the second half. Sage Dugal punched in the first after a corner kick to open the scoring, then Gallant set up a goal by Maddie Provost, who earlier in the day announce her commitment to play NCAA Division-I basketball at Holy Cross. Gallant netted the final score on a corner kick.
Jayda McDonald made 13 saves for Spruce Mountain.
BOYS SOCCER
LEAVITT 3, WINTHROP 0: Serogzha Bezhenar, Antonio Peralta and Tyler Mates scored to lift the Hornets (6-2) past the Ramblers (5-3-1) in Turner.
Matthew Tabet set up two goals and Bradley Dupile had one assist.
Leavitt keeper Luke Horn made four saves, while Gianni Haefele made 15 stops for Winthrop.
BUCKFIELD 3, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Krosby Harvey scored three goals to lift the Bucks (6-2-1) past the Falcons (1-8-1) in Buckfield.
Harvey has five goals in the past two games.
Neil Haylock made six saves for the Bucks, while Gabe Hall stopped eight shots for Mountain Valley.
LINCOLN ACADEMY 1, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Richard Pelikan scored in the second half to lift the Eagles (2-2-3) past the Patriots (2-5) in Gray.
Lincoln Academy had a few other scoring chances late, but Tristian Cuttier keep them from scoring again.
Joey Crooker made six saves for Lincoln.
FIELD HOCKEY
MT. BLUE 7, HAMPDEN ACADEMY 0: Kali Judkins recorded a goal and three assists as the Cougars (7-2) beat the Broncos (3-5-1) in Farmington.
Lily Huntley added a goal and two assists, and Avery Tinker and Morgan Hersey each had a goal and an assist. Keira Adams, Grace Allen and Brooklyn Webber also scored for the Cougars.
LEWISTON 4, BANGOR 0: Lauren Cote scored a goal and added two assists in the Blue Devils’ (7-2-1) win over the Rams (0-8-1) in Lewiston.
Luci Tremblay scored twice and Valerie Potvin contributed a goal. Ayanay Holloman recorded an assist.
Shelby Vallee earned the shutout by making one save, and Bangor’s Kya Smith stopped nine shots.
