AUBURN — The wildly popular bakery Marvelous Macarons has relocated from Sabattus to 245 Center St. in Auburn, and while it took the owner longer than expected, she has reopened.
Jenna Roberts closed her Sabattus location at the beginning of the summer and had planned to reopen in the new location in July, but ran into construction and licensing delays.
The loyal customers forming massive lines at the Sabattus shop have been following Roberts’ progress and the trials and tribulations that faced her on social media.
Lines formed again as the bakery announced it was opening at the end of October.

Marvelous Macarons is Wednesday-Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Marvelous Macarons has nearly 7,000 followers on Facebook, with another 1,200 on Instagram.
Roberts has not only expanded from two days to four, she has also expanded her menu offerings, partnering with Darlin’ Farms in Lisbon Falls to bring in fresh-baked sourdough breads.

Marvelous Macarons has lunch items on the menu, including grilled cheese on sourdough, grilled PB&Js, weekly soup options, lemonade and dirty sodas (fountain soda with flavored syrups and a dash of cream), and the Dubai fruit cups every day.
Roberts is among a number of local food businesses offering to help SNAP recipients facing reduced benefits by offering free bagged lunches to anyone in need. Her mind is constantly in motion already planning something special for Thanksgiving.
Expect to find all her baked goods from cupcakes to cookies and her very popular macarons. Just a few days after opening, she almost sold out everything she had on a weekday.
