A crash involving two vehicles and a building left one man dead and several others injured Saturday afternoon in Lewiston.
At approximately 1:10 p.m., police responded to a collision on Lisbon Street due to an improper lane change, according to a news release.
As a result of the crash, one of the vehicles, a Ford F-150 operated by Lawrence Williams of Minot, struck a utility pole. The other vehicle, a Jeep Wrangler operated by Ronald Potvin of Lisbon, veered off the road and struck a local business, JD Cuts Hair Salon, at 1270 Lisbon St.
Williams, 70, was dead when emergency personnel arrived, according to police.
Several people inside the salon sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
Police shut down Lisbon Street between Scribner Boulevard and Pleasant Street while investigators reconstructed the accident.
