Hayden Gray scored 24 points off the bench, Hason Ward posted a triple-double that included 10 blocks, and the Maine Celtics extended their winning streak to five games with a 98-84 victory over the Westchester Knicks in an NBA G League game Friday night in White Plains, New York.
It was the first road win of the season for Maine, which started the season with three road defeats before winning four in a row at the Portland Expo.
Gray, a 6-4 rookie guard who played in college for Azuza Pacific and UC San Diego, was 8 of 12 from the field and 4 for 5 from 3-point range.
All five Celtics starters joined Gray in double figures. Ward collected with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Jalen Bridges scored 15 points, Max Shulga had 14, Kameron Warrens added 12 and Kendall Brown finished with 11.
Dink Pate led Westchester with 19 points.
