Katelin and Taylor Hodge, of Oxford, took the honor of having MaineHealth Stephens Hospital’s first baby of the year.

Daughter Andrea was born at the Norway hospital on Jan. 2 at 5:26 p.m., weighing 7 pounds, 6 ounces and measuring 20 inches long.

Andrea is the third daughter in the Hodge family, joining sisters Aurora, 7, and Allison, 4.

“Andrea’s arrival is a beautiful start to a bright new year,” her parents said. “Our hearts are full as we welcome her into our family.”

“The birth of the new year’s baby is a cherished tradition for us symbolizing hope, renewal, and the promise of the year ahead,” hospital Communications and Public Affairs Manager Jennifer Fogg wrote in an email. “We extend heartfelt congratulations to the Hodge family and wish them health, happiness, and many joyful moments as they begin 2026 together.”
