LEWISTON — Firefighters made quick work of flames reported on a back porch of a two-story apartment building at 65 Cumberland Ave.
The blaze was reported Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. and was knocked down quickly, a fire official said, limiting damage to the building. A man in a wheelchair was initially reported to be stuck inside, but Lewiston fire Chief Mark Caron said nobody was injured in the blaze and no building occupants were displaced.
