Nick McCarry, Brandon Osmundson and James Hardie scored in the first period, Isaac Poulter made 36 saves, and the Norfolk Admirals stopped a franchise-record 11-game winning streak for the Maine Mariners with a 4-1 victory Friday night at Cross Insurance Arena.

The Mariners got a second-period power-play goal from Robert Cronin, but Brody Crane restored Norfolk’s three-goal lead.

Maine’s loss was its first since Feb. 11 at Florida.
