Good for Graham Platner for saying “I’m sorry.”
We need people in Washington, D.C., who can say “I’m sorry.” Every week, Platner is on the front page saying “I’m sorry” for something he said yesterday or eight years ago: about the glories of combat, the weakness of women, the sad state of disabled people; we wait for the next one. He is mature to reflect and reflect again.
From Janet Mills, do we hear apologies? She tells President Trump where to go and … no “sorry.” Mills is about 10 sorries short of Graham’s remarkable record of apologies.
Vote for Platner on Nov. 4. Then we can all say “I’m sorry.”
