I want to thank Gov. Mills. She should be proud of her decades of public service. For all that she done for the citizens of Maine I say, “bravo.”
I would also like to extend my gratitude for how graciously she has departed the Democratic Senate primary.
I have been a Graham Platner supporter from the start. I invite those who are opposed to Platner — calling him a socialist — to substitute the term “public” for “socialist.” If we attended public school, we received a socialized education. If we were to call the police or fire department then we would be using socialized public safety.
The question simply boils down to what we want our tax dollars used for. A worthy debate. One I think Graham articulates well. Let’s have a vibrant discussion while respecting one another’s view.
God bless America and the great state of Maine.
