FARMINGTON — Maine’s new commissioners, their priorities and how they impact Western Maine is the topic of a Western Maine Legislative Caucus breakfast forum March 25.
It begins at 7 a.m. in Olsen Student Center at the University of Maine at Farmington.
Department of Conservation Commissioner William Beardsley and Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Darryl Brown plan to attend. Department of Education Commissioner Stephen Bowen has also been invited.
The event is the first of a series of forums being organized with the state’s new leadership. It will begin with a complimentary networking breakfast at 7 a.m. Registration is not required but RSVPs are requested for meal planning purposes. Caucus forums are free and open to the public. The program is sponsored by the Western Mountains Alliance, University of Maine Farmington, Mt. Blue Regional School District, the Franklin Community Health Network, Western Maine Community Action, Greater Franklin Development Corp., and Mission at the Eastward.
