Arrests/summonses

March 14 at 7:50 a.m. — Charles Lee, 63, of Mexico was arrested on a charge of operating after suspension by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on Lincoln Avenue. Lee posted $400 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

March 14 at 10:55 p.m. — Daryl Streper, 22, of Jay was charged with assault by Patrolman Dave Hodgson on Hancock Street. Streper is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

March 16 at 10:37 p.m. — Adam Gallant, 25, of Mexico was arrested on a charge of displaying a fictitious sticker by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Lincoln Avenue. Gallant posted $600 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

March 17 at 8:14 p.m. — Larry Chapman, 31, of Rumford was arrested on charges of operating without a license and violation conditions of release by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Cumberland Street. Chapman was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail in Paris and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

March 17 at 8:14 p.m. — Jamie Richards, 28, of Rumford was charged with permitting unlawful use by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Cumberland Street. Richards is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

March 17 at 11:50 p.m. — Christopher Myles, 38, of Rumford was arrested on a charge of violation conditions of release by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Falmouth Street. Myles was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail in Paris and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

March 18 at 2:56 p.m. — Thomas Gilbert, 20, of Rmford was summoned on a charge of assault by Patrolman Dave Hodgson on Cumberland Street. Gilbert is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

March 19 at 12:03 a.m. — Dominoc Loconte, 20, of Salem, N.H., was charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor and illegal possession of marijuana by Sgt. James Bernard and Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Route 108. Loconte is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

March 19 at 1:43 a.m. — Brandon Kimble, 24, of Sanbonville, N.H., was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear fore a theft charge by Sgt. James Bernard on Route 108. Kimball posted $340 cash bail and was released.

March 19 at 2:32 p.m. — Daryl Streper, 22, of Jay was arrested on a charge of harassment by telephone by Patrolman Dave Hodgson on Lincoln Avenue. Streper posted $500 unsecure bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

March 19 at 2:32 p.m. — A 16-year-old Rumford girl was arrested on charges of assault and criminal trespass by Patrolman Dave Hodgson on Lincoln Avenue. She is scheduled to appear in Rumford Juvenile Court on May 3.

Criminal mischief

March 16 at 10:08 a.m. — Patrolman Brock Clukey investigated damage done to a vehicle. No further information is available.

Theft

March 14 at 11:43 p.m. — Patrolman Donald Miller investigated the theft of a wallet from a Hancock Street residence. Value of loss: $10.

Wanted

Nicholas Downs, 24, of Bethel is wanted on a Rumford District Court
warrant for failure to stop, remain and provide information, and failure to report a crash. The warrant is dated March 4,  2011.
