AUBURN- Anthony ‘Tony’ Blondin of Lewiston passed away Saturday, July 17 at the age of 56 with several members of his loving family by his side following a prolonged cancer battle.

Tony was a member of the 1983 class at Lisbon High School, where he ran track and played baseball.

He was a warehouse supervisor for Marden’s department store, a mental health rehabilitation technician who facilitated patient activities for Richardson Hollow Mental Health Services, and later a driver for L-A Cab Service.

Tony most enjoyed being outdoors, particularly camping, gardening and catching hornpout and the occasional eel out of Lake Auburn.

He was a longtime member of Acme Social Club and played on its championship shuffle bowl team for a decade. A music buff specializing in classic rock, his friends called him a walking jukebox because of his knowledge and karaoke performances. He loved sports, especially hockey and the Boston Bruins.

Tony is survived by his parents, Dolores and Gerard Blondin of North Myrtle Beach, SC; brother Alan Blondin of Myrtle Beach, SC; son Zachary Blondin; daughter Sarah Blondin and husband Steven Hollinger; grandson Niklas Hollinger; girlfriend Tina Robinson; and cat Sylvania Buttons.

A memorial gathering celebrating Tony’s life for friends and family will be held from 6-8 p.m. on  Thursday, July 22, 2021 at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home at 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway in Lewiston, 784-4023.
