A truck sideswiped a power pole Monday at 456 Bowdoinham Road in Sabattus when the driver tried to avoid hitting a cat, Dan Davies, interim police chief said. Central Maine Power crews replaced the broken pole. Further details were not available late Monday. Sabattus Police Department photo
