Are drug prices affecting people? To many, prescription drug costs are insurmountable, causing lots of people to make difficult choices on whether they should buy the medication or not, or cut back on using it.
There was some disappointing news recently that a compromise between Medicare and drug companies was omitted in President Biden’s spending plan. However, much of the public supports the idea of negotiating drug prices with Medicare.
For years this was against the law to negotiate. Imagine that. There now is an effort to have a compromise on lowering drug costs. Let us hope the momentum toward a compromise keeps going.
I ask people to lend their support on this issue by calling their congressmen and senators.
