TURNER – The Board of Selectmen will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Town Office.

Selectmen will open bids for mowing and for furnishing cold mix asphalt to the town. They will also receive a report from the 225th Anniversary Committee, which held its first meeting April 12.

Selectman Angelo Terreri was elected chairman of the anniversary committee. Subcommittees were appointed for entertainment, fireworks and promotion. Members discussed opening the Century Box, the contents of which were last seen at the bicentennial.
