Lina “Betty” Barclay
LEWISTON – Lina “Betty” Barclay, 86, a former resident of Livermore, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022, at D’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston. She was born June 28, 1935 in Jay, the daughter of Vincent Nemi and Maria (Ventrella) Nemi. She was a graduate of Livermore Falls High School. On July 4, 1955 at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay she married Andrew Barclay. They enjoyed 39 years together before his passing in 1994. She devoted her time to her family and her home. Betty enjoyed traveling, especially going to Hawaii to visit her daughter, playing cards with the girls, and enjoying time with her children and grandchildren.She is survived by her daughters, Crystal Berry and husband Mike of Livermore and Debra Evans and husband Chris of Hawaii, her son James Barclay of Harpswell, five grandchildren, David Berry, Daniel Berry, Jason Evans, Andrew Evans, and Brett Barclay and two great-grandchildren.
