Father Daniel Greenleaf, pastor of Prince of Peace Parish in Lewiston, invites all men of the Diocese of Portland to gather for a retreat on the first weekend of Lent, according to a news release from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland.
The retreat will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Holy Trinity Church, 67 Frost Hill Ave. in Lisbon Falls.
Lunch will be provided, with presentations planned by Greenleaf, Father Patrick Finn, and Father John Sacreties.
“I’ll be presenting on charity, Fr. Patrick will present on fraternity, and Fr. John will present on unity,” said Greenleaf.
The free event is being sponsored by Prince of Peace Parish and the parish’s Knights of Columbus councils.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
