I think it is a very bad time to bond $19 million, when the taxpayers are already at their limit.
Another $1,364,000 for unnecessary vehicles is insane. Over $5 million for a fire station is ridiculous. And $850,000 for a fire truck to replace one that is not that old can wait a few more years.
We have a city council that is, in my opinion, not taxpayer friendly. I’d like to see at least three replaced. I wonder why they don’t check the overinflated salaries of all the management personnel. Some are making 150% more than the job calls for.
Gas, and groceries are at an all time high. We taxpayers need a break. Staff works for the council, and the council is supposed to work for us. I’ve yet to see it.
Next year will be even worse.
