AUBURN — The Vacationland RV & Camping Show will make Norway Savings Bank Arena its home through 2027, the venue announced on Tuesday.

The event, billed as Maine’s largest RV and camping show, is produced by the Maine Campground Owners Association, which represents over 180 of Maine’s licensed campgrounds and participates in the Maine Hospitality and Tourism Alliance.

“Since the move from Portland, attendance numbers have expanded tremendously,” said Kathy Dyer, executive director of the organization. “Norway Savings Bank Arena is centrally located and much more accessible to the majority of our campground members and RV dealers who attend.”

The 18th annual show was hosted by the arena back in April, after a two-year hiatus during the pandemic. Prior to 2018, the show had always been held in Portland.

The event is open to the public and offers over 60 campground exhibitors and local businesses, allowing attendees the chance to explore the latest camping resources. The show features many of Maine’s largest RV dealers and the newest RV models and camping options of all sizes. Dyer said the event typically attracts about 5,000 people.

Below are the dates of the Vacationland RV & Camping Show through 2027:

• 2023: March 31, April 1 and April 2
• 2024: April 5, 6 and 7
• 2025: April 4, 5 and 6
• 2026: April 10, 11 and 12
• 2027: April 2, 3 and 4

Norway Savings Bank Arena is operated by the city of Auburn and is a full entertainment venue offering sporting events, family shows and trade shows.
