RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Irene F. Thibodeau was celebrated Saturday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Philip Tracy was the celebrant. Bernie Poirier was the altar server and Mark Belanger was organist. Music selections included “Be Not Afraid,” “Because the Lord is My Shepherd” and “Ave Maria.” Readings were provided by her niece, Denise Smithberger. Gift bearers were Carmen and Ray Beaulieu. Interment was in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed in the parish hall. Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
