WILTON — Police say a canine unit was used Thursday night to track a suspicious person who fled from the porch of a High Street home.
The homeowner reported seeing a suspicious person on the porch. A neighbor’s dog started barking and the person was scared off and fled.
A canine unit from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department was called in and tracked the person to the town garage on Weld Street where the scent was lost.
Officer Nick Zecher is investigating the incident.
