RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Claire M. Richard of Rumford was celebrated Thursday at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius–St. John Church, Rumford, with Fr. James Martel as celebrant. Altar assistant was George Gionet and organist was Mark Belanger. Music selections included “Clare de Line,” “Walk of Life,” “Morning is Breaking” and “Because the Lord is My Shepherd.” Readings were given by her daughters, Christine Reed and Elaine Boyd. Eulogies were given by her daughter, Pauline Hahn and her sons, Maurice and Emile Richard. Presenting the gifts were her grandchildren, Alyssa, Amy, and Anna Richard. Pallbearers were, Maurice Richard, Raymond Richard, Emile Richard, Mike Boyd, Jeff Boyd and William Boyd. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Rumford. A reception followed at the parish hall of the church. Arrangements were by Meader and Son Funeral Home.
