Some are one-day presentations with no charge; some run from four to eight weeks with a cost of $25, according to a news release from Diane Clay with the Senior College board.
Those who need help can swing by the Senior College office, Room 169, from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Monday, March 20, at 51 Westminster St. in Lewiston.

In addition, the college has been partnering with the Auburn Public Library to provide a variety of presentations in person at the library. March programs include two Travelogues by Eve Fralick on her travels to the Far East.
Those will be followed by four different programs in April, two in May, and one in June. All will be held at the library’s Androscoggin Room, 49 Spring St. in Auburn.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
