DURHAM — A Freeport woman was injured Tuesday afternoon when her car and one driven by a Lewiston man collided at the intersection of Route 125 and River Road.

Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Rielly Bryant said Cristin Richards, 38, of Freeport was driving north on Route 125 and 23-year-old Nicholas Hall of Lewiston was driving on River Road when the two vehicles collided at the intersection.

Richards was taken by Durham Rescue to Parkview Hospital in Brunswick for evaluation, the sergeant said. Hall was not injured, he said.

Damage to Richards’ 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt was estimated at $2,500 and to Halls’ 1999 Pontiac Sunbird at $4,000.

No charges were filed in the 5:20 p.m. crash, Bryant said.
