I have two relatives who went to a dentist office (it’ll go unnamed) who were charged, in my opinion, a ridiculous price for work done.

First one had a cavity that would have cost him over $300 but, because of his great dental insurance, only cost him $185.

The second one had a tooth extraction that would have cost him over $600. He can’t afford health or dental insurance, as he works for an individual with no benefits. Because he paid cash, it cost him $560.

I realize overhead and salaries must be paid, but to what extent does the public have to pay?

Unless parents have dental insurance from the people they work for, they probably can’t afford to take their kids for a health checkup.

I am very happy with my dentist as her and her staff are wonderful.
