Parents of Lewiston High School students will no longer have to stand alone when they make their feelings known to administrators and teachers.

With the formation of a new Lewiston Parents Association, mothers and fathers will have”input as a group rather than taking the Lone Ranger approach,” said Lucien Bedard, temporary chairman of the group.

The association, an outgrowth of parent meetings that followed last spring’s walkout by hundreds of LHS students, will hold its first meeting on Sept. 18.
