Two cops. Three crooks. Eight doors. In a cheap motel room, an embezzling mayor is supposed to meet with his female accountant, while in the room next-door, two undercover cops wait to catch the meeting on videotape. But there’s some confusion as to who is in which room, who is being videotaped, who is taken the money, who is hired a hit man, and why the accountant keeps taking off her clothes. So, goes the plot of the comedy “Unnecessary Farce,” being staged through Sunday, Sept. 25, at the Schoolhouse Arts Center, 16 Richville Road, Standish. Mike Reardon, above, portrays the Highland Hit Man. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday shows at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students and seniors.
