LIVERMORE — Officials released the identity Sunday of a 55-year-old woman from Wilton who was killed Friday in a crash on Boothby Road in Livermore.
Kelly J. Sabin was driving a 2003 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck at about 5 p.m. near 366 Boothby Road, according to the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office. Sabin collided with a horse trailer being pulled by a 2016 GMC pickup truck driven by Charles E. Blanchard, 78, of Freedom, New Hampshire.
Sabin died of injuries suffered in the crash, officials said.
Blanchard, his passenger and two horses were not injured.
Motorists witnessed Sabin’s pickup truck driving erratically, weaving from lane to lane, shortly before the crash, according to information the Sheriff’s Office posted on its Facebook page.
The Livermore Fire Department and NorthStar Ambulance also responded to the crash, and Boothby Road was closed for hours as officers, including some from the Lewiston Police Department, reconstructed the crash.
Officials said Sunday the crash remained under investigation.
