JAY — Police are continuing their investigation into a burglary on Aug. 24 at a doctor’s office on Church Street that netted cough syrup with codeine, an undisclosed amount of cash and a paper shredder.
It was a forced entry gained through a window, Jay Detective Richard Caton IV said Monday.
Fifteen 4-ounce bottles of cough syrup with codeine were taken, he said.
The bottles have white labels with black lettering, he said.
If anyone has any information on the case, Caton asks that they call him at the police station at 897-6766.
