Gammon

BUCKFIELD — A surprise 50th anniversary party was held recently at the Fore Seasons in Turner to honor Roland and Rose Anna Gammon. The celebration party was given by their son and his wife, Tracy and Lisa Gammon, along with their niece, Gloria Scott. Some of their other nieces also decorated the hall in a gold theme.

The couple was married on Sept. 2, 1961, in Buckfield. Their attendants were Craig Gammon, brother of Mr. Gammon, and Alice Allen, sister of Mrs. Gammon. Both were able to attend the celebration with their spouses.

Besides Tracy, the couple had another son, Dennis, now deceased. They also have four grandchildren, Heather Gammon, and Nicholas, Maranda and Bobby Jo Gammon. They were recently blessed with a great-grandson, James Dennis.

Family and friends came from Buckfield, North Norway, Minot, Hebron, Sumner, West Paris, Hartford, Canton, South Paris, Lewiston and Falmouth.
