RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Millie Belskis was conducted Monday at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Phil Tracy as celebrant. Altar assistant was George Gionet and organist was Mark Belanger. Readings were given by her son, Peter Belskis and her sister, Gloria Tardiff. The eulogy was given by her granddaughter, Tricia Blouin. Presenting the gifts were her brother-in-law, Richard Tardiff and daughter-in-law, Nannette Belskis. Music included “Be Not Afraid,” “Because the Lord is My Shepherd,” “Ave Maria” and “Fly Like a Bird.” Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Tracy. Special music at the graveside was “You Never Walk Alone,” sung by guitarist, Barry Wood and accompanied by guitarist, Denny Breau and “Shining Star” composed and sung by guitarist, Denny Breau and accompanied by Barry Wood. A reception followed in the parish hall of the church. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
