The town of Lisbon is set to celebrate Memorial Day on Monday, May 27, with three ceremonies.
The holiday will begin with an official salute at Saint Ann’s Cemetery (Saint Ann’s St., Lisbon) at 8 a.m., followed by the Memorial Day Ceremony at the MTM Center (18 School St., Lisbon Falls) at 9:45 a.m., and ending with a Lost at Sea Ceremony at Smith-McCarthy Park (Webster St., Lisbon) at noon.
The town will also hosts a parade that begins at 9 a.m. at Lisbon High School (2 Suggs Dr., Lisbon Falls) and at ends the MTM Center, where the ceremony will proceed directly after.
Following the ceremonies, American Legion Post 158 invites veterans to an open house at 10 Webster Road in Lisbon.
