The Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church is selling chicken pies and gravy on the third Saturday of the month until further notice.
This month’s sale is set for Saturday, June 15.
Orders for pies will be taken only the morning of June 15 by calling the church at 207-583-9024 between 9 and 11 a.m. People are asked not to leave a message.
Chicken pies must be picked up at the church, 664 Bolsters Mills Road in Bolsters Mills Village, Harrison — between 1 and 2 p.m.; unless arrangements are made when placing the order.
A chicken pie with gravy will cost $15. Multiple pies may be ordered, but the church cannot always guarantee that it can honor large quantities.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
