NORWAY — The Norway Center Church welcomes guest minister Rev. John Williams on Sunday, August 25 at 10 a.m. John is a graduate of the Bangor Theological Seminary, MD. John has recently retired as minister of the West Auburn Congregational Church having served their congregation twice (1981-1988) and (2014-2024), as well as the West Bethel Union Church on multiple occasions. He has served in the ministry for over four decades. John is also the Chief Executive Officer for the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce and has served in that capacity for nearly 25 years, and President and founder along with his wife Wendy of The Williams Broadcasting Group since 1992. John and his wife Wendy live in Norway and enjoy traveling, fly fishing and other outdoor activities, and they also have been raising and breeding sheep for over 35 years.
We also welcome Anne Bernard as organist and the Oxford Hills Ukulele Group (OHUG) to our last Sunday service for the 2024 summer season. All denominations are welcome. Coffee and refreshments will be served after the worship service.
