I hope people will join me in voting for Joan Beal for House District 81 representative. I have known her for decades and worked alongside her for the betterment of our community in many ways.

Joan is a longtime advocate of people of all ages in many different arenas. She has worked tirelessly as a teacher for over 30 years, on various boards including the Norway Budget Committee, the Comprehensive Planning Committee, the Norway Downtown Design and Development, and the Climate Action Advisory Committee, to name a few of many more.

Joan would be a great representative with great skills at listening, resolving conflicts and encouraging good thinking. She is a positive force in our community and would be even more effective as our representative.

I hope people vote for Joan.
