RANGELEY — Rangeley’s community radio station, WRGY, in collaboration with the Rangeley Friends of the Arts, is pleased to announce an Underwriter Appreciation Night at the RFA Lakeside Theater, Sunday, Feb. 16 starting at 5 p.m., featuring a showing of “A Complete Unknown”, the acclaimed Bob Dylan biopic.
This event is meant to demonstrate the station’s sincere appreciation to the many businesses and organizations in the region that support WRGY both financially and in-kind. They are essential for keeping community radio on the air in the Rangeley region.
The celebration will begin at 5:00 with light refreshments provided by The Black Pearl restaurant, live music by Rangeley’s own Shape Shifters duo, and the premier showing of the new WRGY video which celebrates 15 years on the air.
“A Complete Unknown“ will begin at 5:30. Tickets for the movie are $7 and are available to the public at the door. A cash bar and concessions will be available. For more information, please tune in to WRGY at 90.5 FM, and check out the website at www.wrgy.org where you can also stream the station.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
