Lise Y. Morin

AUBURN – Lise Y. Morin, 84, of Turner, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, at Andwell Hospice House in Auburn, with her family by her side.

She was born Jan. 27, 1941, in St. George, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Rosaire Morin and Germaine (Cloutier) Morin. She attended school in Canada and later received her GED after moving to Maine.

On June 2, 1962, in St. Georges de Beauce, Quebec, she married Marc Morin. They enjoyed 47 years together before his passing on March 20, 2010.

Lise worked at Livermore Falls Shoe for many years, also working for Addy Berry during blueberry seasons, Lois and Pat’s Store in North Turner and later for Turner Highlands as a prep cook. She was a member of the North Turner Fire Department Auxiliary. She and Marc enjoyed their trips to Zephyrhills, Fla., following her grandchildren’s events and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Steven Morin and wife Irene of Auburn; grandsons Levi Morin and wife Nicole of King’s Park, Long Island, N.Y. and Chad Morin and fiancée, Nicole Gay, Quincy, Mass.; her sister, Francine Lessard and husband André of St. George, Quebec, Canada; her Morin family in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; and sister, Denise Ward.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 1, at Finley Funeral Home, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., prior to the funeral service. Interment in the spring at North Turner Cemetery, Howes Corner Road, Turner. Following the service family and friends are invited to a luncheon at the North Livermore Baptist Church, 619 Federal Rd, L.ivermore.
