DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Woman’s Literary Union will present a Children’s Tea at the Foss Mansion, 19 Elm St. in Auburn, on Saturday, May 17, with seatings at 9 and 11 a.m. The cost is $5 per child and $10 per adult.
Dolls can attend at no charge. There will also be a child and doll parade. Homemade clothing for American Girl dolls will be available for sale.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: A public supper will be served at Mexico Congregational Church, UCC (“Green Church”), 163 Main St., on Saturday, May 17, at 5 p.m. The menu will consist of baked ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, pineapple sauce, and rolls, with pie for dessert, all for $13 a plate.
The church dining room entrance is on Mitchell Street, as well as an entrance for those who wish to use the elevator. Takeout will be available at 5:30 p.m. and can be ordered by calling the church at 364-8603. Wait for the beep to leave a message and include your name, phone number and preferred choice of pie.

ANSWER: It is a challenge to get used to something new and different, isn’t it? But I’m still here for you all. Currently, Sun Spots runs Tuesday through Friday, and on Sunday.
