DEAR SUN SPOTS: SHAREcenter is having a Parking Lot Sale at 675 Main St., Marketplace Mall (behind Cumberland Farms) on Saturday, July 19, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Items include furniture, new clothing, children’s books, jewelry making and scrapbooking supplies, collectibles, home goods, canning supplies, a stove, refrigerator, conference tables and chairs, lockers, storage bins, and so much more. There will even be some free items. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

All the funds raised help SHAREcenter continue its mission to reduce, reuse and recycle materials so they don’t go to the dump and instead, get into the hands of schools and other non-profit organizations. Thank you to everyone who supports the SHAREcenter. We hope to see you on Saturday. — SHAREcenter Volunteer Committee, Lewiston

ANSWER: This sounds like a great sale! The SHAREcenter does so much for our wonderful community of educators and the children in their charge.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I have called Central Maine Medical Center several times since the computer glitch they experienced, asking if they were going to offer their patients credit monitoring, because it was stated that some patient information was compromised. As of today no one has answered my messages. Meanwhile, Saint Mary’s has already alerted their patients. Hopefully, you can find a contact to answer this question. — Fred, no town

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Thank you to the individual who picked up my misplaced wallet at the self-checkout counter at Hannaford in Turner. It was such a relief when I learned it had been turned in to the store’s manager.

We are so thankful to live among such faithful people! — No name, Turner

ANSWER: You are very fortunate that someone kind and honest discovered your wallet and knew just what to do. Losing anything so important is so stressful. I’m glad you had a happy ending to this mishap.
