Denise Grandmaison of Lewiston holds a candle in front of a memorial set up on a bench at Kennedy Park in Lewiston on Sunday. The event was in honor and remembrance of her sister, Sarah Desrosiers, who was killed 25 years ago by an intoxicated 18-year-old. Grandmaison is hoping to bring awareness of the problems attributed to excessive alcohol consumption. The vigil was attended by more than 20 friends and family members.
