Annah Rothe scored off a corner kick by Reese Bilodeau with about 4 minutes remaining in regulation as Leavitt rallied to earn a 2-2 draw against Cony in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference girls soccer match Wednesday in Turner.

Bilodeau scored the only goal of the first half. Cony (1-3-1) then took the lead in the second half on a pair of goals by Rylan Miller, one of which was assisted by Kelsie Huard.

Hailey Welch of Leavitt (1-4-1) stopped five shots. Cony keeper Ayla St. Onge made six saves.

BOYS SOCCER

LEAVITT 2, CONY 1: A goal by Tyler Mates with 5:07 remaining lifted the Hornets (4-2) over the Rams (2-3) in Augusta.

All the scoring occurred in the second half. Leavitt’s Serogzha Bezhenar struck first at 15:30, lofting the ball over the head of Cony keeper Filip Graham. Joe Knapp tied it about seven minutes later after a long ball by Graham.

Jacob Gibbs assisted on the winning goal.

FIELD HOCKEY

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 5, OAK HILL 0: Ava Davis scored three goals to pace the Phoenix (6-1) past the Raiders (0-7) in Jay.

Alaina Kachnovich contributed two goals and an assist, while Linda Lake added two assists and Adell Pease set up one goal.
